Experience the Best Neighborhood Bar in Charlotte – Now at Lake Norman!

Ed’s Tavern at Lake Norman is phenomenal. We showed up unannounced with a party of 30 after a lacrosse tournament and we were greeted warmly. We were accommodated quickly. They allowed us to push tables together. They let the kids have their Our table and were extremely patient with the back-and-forth of kids and parents. Our server was Caroline And she was lovely and patient and helped us the entire time. The food was perfect and hot. The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful and we thoroughly encourage you to visit. In the future, I would call ahead with a party this big because we were a very large party. 10/10

Date Night Go To!! We loved this place the food was awesome. Fried pickles were crispy and came with homemade ranch. Chicken tenders seemed homemade, hand breaded, and seasoned perfectly. Sweet potato fries had good crunch. We started out inside but the music was too loud so we asked to be moved outside. We know its a bar but it seems more of a social place to meet friends and family. I believe the volume of the music for sure could have been less. It has a nice outdoor seating area so if it is warm enough sitting outside is the way to go.

We are really excited to have an Ed’s Tavern in our neck of the woods. I always love their wings and today we stopped in to their new location in Huntersville. The food was awesome, we just ordered an appetizer sampler which had all the hits: wings, boneless wings, cheese sticks, and two types of eggrolls. All of the choices were delicious.

I also ordered a beer and they had 20 different choices on tap, so pretty good selection. We were there on Saturday afternoon and they had tons of TVs and sports on as well. This might be a good place to go and watch football or basketball this winter.

The service was good, there were only two waitresses and one bartender that we could see for the whole restaurant, so they seemed a bit understaffed. They have only been opened for a week, so I am sure they are gauging their occupancy to see how they need to staff.

The inside was nice and had an Ed’s vibe. Although the brick wall is fake, it’s a nice touch. The outside patio looks pretty awesome and we can’t wait to go back when the weather is a bit nicer.

I would recommend this place is you are looking for a sports bar vibe by the lake.

First time here and loved it! From the appetizer, to the drinks, to the entree. All was very, very well done.

The bourbon list is good and will grow with time. I had the server surprise me with an IPA and she didn’t disappoint. Alecia was stellar and very attentive to our needs.

I’m looking forward to our next visit!

Stopped in at Eds Tavern for lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the service. I ordered the French Dip sandwich and throughly loved it. It was made so fresh. This is a great place to hang out.
